Write date: 24 February 2021

Hello and welcome to AyurMedia. I am Vivek Negi, the author of this website. So first of all, thanks for being here! My pleasure to have you as a guest, whether you are returning or this is your first visit.

On this page, I will give a brief introduction to myself and this website.

Hope you’ll have a good time while you’re here.

THE PERSONAL

Namaste, my name is Vivek Negi and I am an Ayurveda professional. I completed my bachelor’s degree from Uttarakhand Ayurved University. Currently, I am living in Dehradun, India.

As a side project, I built this website to gain programming experience and this is something that encouraged me to be an aspiring and credible voice on Ayurveda.

ABOUT AYURMEDIA

In early 2021 I started the AyurMedia website, a long time ago now. As a labor of love, AyurMedia continues to grow in both cost and time. As a consequence, today AyurMedia is also available in Hindi

Ayurmedia is an effort to bring the wisdom from the vast ocean of Ancient Ayurveda to the modern world. The information shared here is just a drop from the vast ocean of Ancient Ayurveda. There is much more in Ayurveda than what is shared here.

AyurMedia is for everyone who aspires to discover the superiority of Ayurvedic wisdom. It is for Ayurveda learners, professionals, and of course those who are interested in knowing Ayurveda or believe in Ayurvedic wisdom and its healing power.

MISSION AND VISION

Bringing ancient Ayurvedic wisdom to the modern world is the goal of Ayurmedia. In order to offer a new understanding of Ayurveda, we aim to produce content that is well-written and thoroughly researched.

My primary objective at Ayurmedia is to provide authentic, readable, science-backed, and quality information about Ayurveda including Ayurveda, lifestyle, herbs, and home remedies.

I am trying to make Ayurveda more convenient and easy to understand. So that freshers can benefit from it. Initially, I will be covering topics I thought were difficult to understand. I will be covering more topics in the upcoming days.

Unfortunately, at present, I am unable to cover more topics due to my busy schedule. I will be sharing everything I learn in my professional. It could potentially be beneficial to someone who is seeking solutions to similar queries in the future.

Teamwork is something I am looking for. As of now, I am focused on learning, time management, and expanding my abilities.

I expect that my writing will reveal some great outcomes in the future. I hope you will love this place. If after reading this you want to support me you can contribute in whatever manner you think is feasible.

I believe in storytelling and holistic living. I believe in nature body equanimity. I believe in holistic Ayurveda.

AYURVEDA IN BRIEF

Ayurveda is the oldest system of medicine dating back to 5000 years old. Ayurveda has influenced many of the older traditional methods of healing including Tibetan, Chinese and Greek medicine. Hence, It is considered by many as the ‘mother of healing.’ Ayurveda literally means “knowledge of life and longevity”.

As a science of life, Ayurveda reveals the secrets of living a long, healthy life. Holistic Ayurveda is based upon the natural curative and preventative principles for a healthy life. The basic objective of Ayurveda is to protect the health of a healthy and eliminate the illness of an ill.

Ayurvedic treatment aims at eliminating impurities, reducing symptoms, boosting immunity, reducing stress, and increasing harmony in life. From an Ayurvedic perspective, nourishment goes beyond food to include the things that nature provides and replenishes the core of our being. Since there is no cure available prevention seems to be the only way left in the current scenario.

Now is the time to integrate the Ayurvedic principles and demonstrate its potential in restoring health.
