AYURVEDA IN BRIEF

Ayurveda is the oldest system of medicine dating back to 5000 years old. Ayurveda has influenced many of the older traditional methods of healing including Tibetan, Chinese and Greek medicine. Hence, It is considered by many as the ‘mother of healing.’ Ayurveda literally means “knowledge of life and longevity”.

As a science of life, Ayurveda reveals the secrets of living a long, healthy life. Holistic Ayurveda is based upon the natural curative and preventative principles for a healthy life. The basic objective of Ayurveda is to protect the health of a healthy and eliminate the illness of an ill.

Ayurvedic treatment aims at eliminating impurities, reducing symptoms, boosting immunity, reducing stress, and increasing harmony in life. From an Ayurvedic perspective, nourishment goes beyond food to include the things that nature provides and replenishes the core of our being. Since there is no cure available prevention seems to be the only way left in the current scenario.

Now is the time to integrate the Ayurvedic principles and demonstrate its potential in restoring health.
