Doṣas are capable of vitiating the different bodily tissues, when deviate from the state of equilibrium and can lead to diseases. These are of two classes: a. Śārīrika (bodily): Vāta, Pitta and Kapha. b. Mānasa (psychological): Raja and Tama.
